Job Description:
 Our client is a  progressive and fast-growing Interior Design firm specializes in top-end deluxe projects including Hotels, F&B Outlets, Spas, Show Flats, Private Residences, Serviced Apartments, Club Houses, etc.  Seeking candidates of excellent caliber who possess the drive and ambition to join our talented team in capitalizing past success and to strive further ahead in this dynamic and highly competitive market.


Requirements

-         Local candidate to Shanghai or surrounding areas

-         Degree in Interior Design, Fine Arts or Architecture.

-         Must speak & write Mandarin Fluently.

-         7-10 years of relevant working experience in interior design.

-          Minimum 5 years experience as project designer.

-          Space planning skills essential.

-          Candidates with less working experience will be considered as senior project designer.

-          International exposures regarding F&B trends, luxury brands, travel, design and lifestyles.

-          Strong with colour schemes, artwork selection, preparation of design presentation/ mood boards.

-          Extremely well-versed in interior finishes and material (e.g. fabric, wood, glass, upholstery, carpet, etc.).

-          Very proficient in creative styling, conceptual design, space planning, furniture design.

-     Acute sense of aesthetics and visual reference.

-          Self-motivated, responsible and good presentation skill.

-          Knowledgeable in Photoshop, Power Point and AutoCAD.

-          Skills in free hand perspectives and sketching an advantage.

-          Need to travel throughout Mainland China if required.

-          Problem solver and accustomed to work in a fast-paced environment.

-          Ability to work independently under pressure to meet multiple tasks and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

-          Review and analyze clients project information.

-          Develop multiple design scenarios .

-          Assist with conceptual design and space planning for projects handled by both Hong Kong and Shanghai offices.

-          Liaise with Hong Kong office and various suppliers.

-          Convey project information and general concept to project team.

-          Assist with overseeing Shanghai office designers and decorators in development of project.
