Job Description:
This position is for a
large company that manufactures a luxury product sold to the
Architecture and Design community. Many of the showrooms are
located within design centers across the US. This is an excellent
opportunity for a candidate that has multi- unit retail store or
showroom management experience for a luxury brand. This experience
does not have to be within the Architecture & Design industry.
This position can be based anywhere on the west coast with required
to travel to the showrooms in your region.
Some of the responsibilities include:
1. Recruitment, development and motivation of all sales
personnel.
2. Development and implementation of sales initiatives, including
outside sales, local marketing and promotional efforts.
3. Develop and maintenance of showroom, including updated,
well-maintained displays.
4. Identify opportunities and implement initiatives toward goals of
improving customer service and increasing operating efficiency.
5. Ensure clear communication of goals and expectations as they
relate to sales and support of corporate image.
7. Work with the Marketing and Communications Department to
implement strategies to ensure market share is attained and realize
the objectives outlined in the strategic business plan.
