“We actually hired Ken to speak
at two career days. Our chapter is so large that we held one on the
east coast and another on the west coast of Florida, each a week
apart. His presentation was excellent. He gave specific examples to
the students on how to properly prepare a cover letter and resume.
He talked about how to brand oneself and make the best impression
possible with a potential employer. He also talked about how to
network and use the internet to get access to job opportunities,
both advertised and unadvertised. I would definitely recommend
having him speak to your students! Some students even attended both
events so as to see him again!
We offered roundtables at our event and he stayed afterwards at a
roundtable and answered specific questions for a few hours, so I
think the students really saw the value in what he had to
say.“
